The Origins of a Young Irish Woman Who Became Central to the Fading Darkness Universe
I have had more feedback on Lydia Townsend than any other character. Over the course of the two books, she goes through a life altering journey that takes her from the Irish countryside to the Virginia frontier. Along the way, she discovers a strength and ferocity that forces her to confront deep seeded demons that most of us share. She is by far one of my favorite characters. The fact that Lydia is based on three real women of the frontier makes her story even more appealing.
